Why say “secular society”? The Jesus teachings do not prompt theocracy, and according to Romans 13, all human rulers are appointed by God. The earth is “good” from Genesis on. Why do traditional Christians get to claim sacred space?—because they don’t authorize it?

I see you meaning to say “society not ruled by traditional Christian clergy” or something like that. But clergical rule has no biblical status. The only commandment is “love one another”—this creates the sacred.

It is Christians who live in secularism!
