Well, what are you saying that ‘Christianity’ is? I assume you associate with the Jesus teachings but not the later sexless fertility cult.

I recall a remark by Edwin D. Freed: “We should be aware that the word ‘Christian’ appears nowhere in Paul’s letters and was not used by believers to refer to themselves until several decades after Paul lived. He cannot, therefore, properly be called a Christian. Nor was the religion Paul was espousing known as Christianity, a designation that arose near the end of the first century.”

It was the ‘Way’, and the Jesus teachings concerned an expansion of love. I think the word ‘Christianity’ needs to be designated as pertaining to a post-biblical cult that attaches to the scriptures without even knowing what the words meant.
