Thank you! I realize from your comment I need a Part II . . . the homosexual stories of the Bible. However, are David and Jonathan lovers? We know that Jonathan loved David, but David’s love in return is not, that I know of, ever indicated to be returned. I thought of this when reading an essay recently about David and women: “Michal is said to have loved David (1 Sam. 18.20, 28), but the text does not give any indication as to David’s motivation for marrying Michal . . .”
