I'm all for critiques of Evangelicalism, but it'd be nice if you'd acknowledge that "Puritanical heteronormative poisoning" is a feature of pretty much every culture. Are you not familiar with anti-gay narratives in other cultures?

The critique might be that the Bible offers a theology of love that opposes such attacks, and Evangelicals overwrote it with their own kooky sex obsessions.
